Vanessa Johnson

Vanessa Johnson, 53 of Wolfe City, departed this life on April 23, 2022. Her Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM. The Homegoing Service will be officiated at Ebenezer Baptist Church located 301 S. Spencer St., Wolfe City, Texas. Public Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM at Love & Integrity Funeral Home located at 4900 King Street, Greenville, TX. Vanessa was born May 27, 1968 to Edward Earl Johnson and Mary Francis Murphy, and lived in Wolfe City over 50 years before moving to Commerce, TX. She received her education at Wolfe City Independent School District and her undergraduate education at Paris Junior College. She was a member of Yeager Chapel CME Church in Wolfe City, TX. She leaves to cherish her memory - 5 sisters: Shirley Alexander of Wolfe City, TX, Rosemary McFail of Wolfe City, TX, Christyl Reed of Bonham, TX, Evette Harrison of Commerce, TX, and Tina Johnson of Commerce, TX; 3 brothers: Stanley Murphy of Wolfe City, TX, Kelvin Murphy of Wolfe City, TX, and Tyrone Williams of Wolfe City, TX; 2 brother-in-laws: Michael Alexander of Wolfe City, TX and Will Harrison of Commerce, TX ; 18 nieces and nephews; 30 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, Justin Michael Murphy and Tristan Blake Johnson; grandparents, parents, 3 brothers: Willie Fred Woodberry, Bruce Murphy, and Kirk Johnson. Vanessa will be remembered as a strong, thoughtful, and loyal person who always put others before herself. Please keep her family in your prayers.
