Rodney “Roddy Rod" Tyrone Cuba

Rodney Tyrone Cuba “Roddy Rod”, 52 of Ladonia departed this life on January 18, 2025.  His Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 2:30 PM.  The Homegoing Service will be at Fannidel High School, 601 W Main St, Ladonia, TX 75449

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Little Bethel Baptist Church, 120 S. Wilson Street
Ladonia, Texas.


He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Sandra Cuba(Wayne) and  Roger Jones (Starr); two daughters, Jalisisa Bennett and Jasmine Cuba; two sisters, Dana Cuba-Tinnell (Dean) and KeNigel Cuba; a special loving aunt, Cheryl Cuba; five grandchildren that he loved dearly: Caylie, Za’Tayvian, Isaac, Drayton, and Cash; two nephews, JoJo and Josh Tinnell; great-nephews, Jeremiah and Amir; and a host of aunts who loved him so much.

Rodney graduated from Fannindel High School in 1990. He was a member of the 1989 State Championship team. He worked diligently at Campbell Soup in Paris, TX, where he was well adored.  He was a proud member of The Little Bethel Baptist Church, where he remained faithful until his death.

Rodney is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter Meals and Erma Lee Cuba, and his paternal grandparents, Billy Jones and Christian Ford.
