Patricia worked at Briarcliff Nursing Home from the time it opened until her illness where she has a hall named after her called Fisher Lane. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, sisters Marva Brown and Erma Faye Garner, brothers, James Brown, and Genola Brown, grandson Keyshawn Davis.

Cherishing her Memories are her children: Tamala Dow (Ken), Keenan Allen (Tarah), Carlos Carter, Antonio Carter (Rachelle), Patrice Carter-Kidd (James), Keisha Carter, Teisha Carter, and Maya Tyson (Darryl), her siblings Lonnie Jones, James Mitchell, Kenneth Brown (Betty), Sandra Brown (Will), B. Dwight Brown, Rev. Ferrell Brown (Berneice), and Louise Brown (Billy). Her grandchildren TyRel Fisher, Triston Carter, Khiry Anderson, Laquinta Alex, Chambrezia Johnson, Shakeytria Carter, Teiumbria Gilstrap, Shaquise Givens-Carter, Carlos Carter Jr, Cartavia Carter, Ceairra Perkins, Keairra Perkins, Staquavia Kendricks, A.
