Joe Jernigan Jr., 80 of Wolfe City, Texas passed away surrounded by his loved ones on February 11, 2021. He was born to Katie and Joseph Jernigan on April 30, 1940, in Marshall Texas. His Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, February 27 at 12 Noon. His Homegoing Services will be officiated at Ebenezer Baptist Church located in Wolfe City, TX, 301 S, Spencer St. Joe was a great dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. He would love to do anything for anybody. The things he would love to do most was going to church, work on cars, go fishing and mow people's yard for them free of charge. Mr. Jernigan is proceeded in death by his mother and father, his wife Bobby Ruth Jernigan, one son, MacArthur, and two brothers, Willie and Eddie Jernigan. He is survived by his brother, Albert Jernigan (Ethel) of Plano Texas, two sons, Victor Jernigan of Wolfe City, Texas and Eddie Joe Jernigan of Oklahoma, three daughters, Bridget Yong of Wolfe City, Texas, Amanda Shepherd of Oklahoma, and Bonita Jernigan of Wolfe City Texas, a special niece, Natalie Hughes, and a host of other relatives and friends. Public Visitation will be on Friday, February 26, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Love & Integrity Funeral Services in Greenville, TX 4900 King Street. Please keep his family in your prayers. A mask must be worn at all times and social distancing required.
