Deborah Joyce Gaffney, 62 of Ladonia departed this life on Sunday, September 15, 2024.  Her Homegoing services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM.  The Celebration of Life Services will be held at Fannindel High School located at 601 W. Main Street * Ladonia TX 75449

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Love & Integrity Funeral Services located at 4900 King Street * Greenville, Texas 75401.

Deborah Joyce Gaffney was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church. She was born on August 16, 1962, as the fifth daughter of Johnny Green Gaffney and Doretha Ford Gaffney.

She attended Fannindel High School where her favorite teacher was Mary Penny, and her favorite subject was music. She connected to music in a way that other people couldn’t.

Deborah loved her pastor, and she loved to sing and to dance. She also loved playing board games, watching TV comedies, Family Feud, and for certain eating Chinese food. Her favorite was the mushrooms and the hot and sour soup, but most importantly she loved the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 9 of her siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are 1 brother Pastor Roy C. Gaffney Sr., 2 sisters Theadora McFail and Juanita Brown (Michael), 2 aunts Mary Ford and Vennie Swain, and a host of nieces and nephews, church family and friends.
